Looking for a high degree of bounce sand wedge other than the history stick. Trying to simplify sand play for my wife. Graves method frustrates her too much. Anyone have a recommendation?

What are you hoping for? What kind of sand do you usually play? What method will she be trying?

I used a Lovett wedge for sandplay. The Lovett worked really well for me except on wet packed or bad sand. I could put some spin on it but mainly used speed of swing for distance. Not best but was sure better than leaving ball in sand all the time. The only other fault I had with it was steep banked bunkers. I still use the Lovett if sand is real fluffy or powder type. I have worked up to a 56 degree Vokey wedge with 12 degree bounce.

If you are looking for something to match the Moe History Stick - look for a wider sole wedge also. Not only did it have a lot of bounce, it also has a very wide sole to help keep the club above the sand.

She currently uses NG 56*. Little bounce and no flat sole. Old style clubs. Would like to get her something that would match with a new iron set later. Can't get her to spend the money for better clubs unless she sees a benefit from this.

I would assume she uses all NG clubs? And also assume she has mid to low club head speed. Finally, assume she takes minimal divot...

With all these criteria she really needs a wider sole club - in fact, a much wider sole club in comparison. She will enjoy the game alot more, will be much much easier to hit shots off the fairway and off the tee, etc.. The wider sole will throw weight under the ball and help get the ball up much easier. Make the game much easier and more enjoyable - that is the key.

A suggestion - http://www.adamsgolf.com/products/womens/a7os.php or something like that. All "big" companies now have clubs like these.
