In my on-going battle with the 45 degree pitch, I was reviewing fundamentals.
I feel like I'm swaying forward when I pitch a lot of the time, so I tried putting my feet REAL close together - to the point that if I rocked, I would have fallen over. It seemed to work really well, but I wanted to know if this "made sense" to you. The results were good - but I don't want a temporary good result to break anything else I should be working on.
I like a narrow but stable stance on the pitching. The sensation of rocking forward is definitely something you want to avoid... with pitching you want to stay stable and weight to stay balanced - critical to have the hands leading and the body stable - if the body rocks forward, typically the club will fall "behind" you and shanks / skulls, etc.. will occur.
