I was blown away by the swing sequence instruction on the latest webinar.I was definitely not starting my downswing correctly.I am now working hard to turn it into a habitual normal movement.Difficult currently, however when I do the move correctly the results are extraordinary.

Anyone having any luck with drills etc? I am working with the leverage bag and training club, also a modified "pump" drill as Tim was demonstrating the vertical drop on the video.Really comitted to getting this down, please help. ?

Chuck,

I'm with you--the sequence instruction was simple yet profound. I tried it on the range and had more success with my driver and 3 wood than with irons. Don't know if that means anything.

For me the key is to maintain the spine angle (away from the target)while turning the hips aggressively. The tendency for me is to want to move the whole body forward (losing the spine angle) and coming over the top as a result. I concentrate on keeping the head still and letting the trail knee move under the head.

I believe the leverage bag "stabilization drill" Todd demonstrates often will take on new meaning for me now. I will try to get the sequence right and keep the head still.

I agree - it was a real eye opener for me. I had been more "sliding" than turning. Worked on this for a couple of days and played 9 holes last Sat. - huge difference in ball striking. Hit some great straight, long shots.

ME TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The swing sequence was a "hole in one" for sure. Todd and Tim, that part of the webinar was absolutely brilliant. Once again, thank you for your dedication to us.

Just like Bob, I had been "sliding" rather than turning during the forward swing. I had been practicing the new sequence at home but didn't get a chance to go the range or a game till yesterday. Wow, what a difference! I usually average 200-210 yards off the tee. I had come to the conclusion that may be I am not a big hitter. Yesterday, I hit most of my drives 240-250 yards, all my clubs were longer and pretty straight. My golf buddies were amazed! The new sequence appears to give the necessary snap with no loss of direction. I couldn't be happier

My scores were bad though - need to brush up my short game with Tim's videos!

Recently, I saw a note from Todd about weight shift. This is another "aha" moment. He says 60-40 (lead/trail leg) weight distribution on the setup and 50-50 at the top of the backswing. Instead, I have 50-50 at the setup but 25-75 at the top of the backswing. This must mean I am shifting a lot more to the trail side than I should. More learning/practicing to do.

I am finally getting it - this is a PROCESS!
