Just re-griped my clubs with the new GGA grips. Very exciting.
Please explain exactly where my hands go relative to the marks. Use small words for my small mind.
I use the overlap grip taught by GGA (or at least I try :)) I get the lead hand -- seems obvious where the thumb and heal pad go. My trail hand index finger seems to hit the first of the two marks leaving a mark uncovered. In order to get both finger marks covered, I need to use both the index and middle finger, When I do that, I feel I am below the marks on my lead hand or my hands feel separated. IS THAT BOTTOM MARK SUPPOSED TO BE UNCOVERED FOR A REGULAR SIZED HAND AND AN OVERLAP GRIP?
By the way, I can already tell that the grips will help me get my trail hand thumb in the right spot -- a reoccurring issue for me as I trend to creep more to the center of the shaft than I should, I am very optimistic that these grips could be game-changing for me.
I really want to get this right the first time I play with these babies.
Thanks for a speedy reply.

| Russ, I saw the explanation of the grip and it is setup for either overlapping or 10 finger. The lower mark is for 10 finger and the upper is for overlapping. I got mine but haven't had a chance to install one yet. Will try later this week. Did you do the install yourself? |

I had them put on at Golfsmith. $3 per grip or $48 for 28 grips over next two years pre-paid.
I am guessing that you are right about leaving that last mark exposed. I would love to be sure my lead hand is not too close to the butt. |

Russ,
The bottom markings are for reference of the trail hand. When I grip it (overlapping), my right index finger and thumb don't make it all the way to those marks, but I can reference them to make sure the V points the right direction.

Thanks.
I am very jazzed to put these in play tomorrow. If they help half as much as I think they will, I'll be thrilled.

| Played the last 2 days with the new grips. Your hands are always on the club correctly. Just makes it so much eaiser to to swing, don't have to think about the club face, it is always square to the target line. |
