OK , Get yourself something to eat and drink and then get comfortable. I’ve been on the couch for 3 days with the bug and I’m feeling the flow and I’m ready to roll. I feel almost normal and I’ve got a lot to talk about. So get yourself ready and then get back here, your not gonna want to miss a thing!!

Ready? OK, then here we go. First of all let me say I”m sorry for not writing my school thread like I said I was going to, but as you all know when you go to a school with the Graves you don’t have a whole lot of energy afterwards. I was able to do it after the first days schooling but I was pretty wiped out after the other days, and then I came down with this’ puke your guts out and run for the bowl diarrhea and then sleep for 3 days bug’, Phew, no wonder I’m so tired, look at how long of a word the bug was. Anyway, I’m back ,sort of.

Well let me finish the school thread ( is the word Blog the same as a thread? I keep hearing the word web blog and I was wondering......). I already told you about the first days activities but I’ll highlight them so you don’t have to go back.
Day one is always one of the best days. Why? Well you get to see all the guys from last year or years, most of them anyway. There were a few missing, fran but his brother was there to let me know how he was, Paul vito, I guess a family conflict came up-easy to see when the class is held just about every memorial day weekend, John Mulacky , I thought you’d be there John, I saw your score of 80 for the Ace and King tourney great score, also missing was Wey-walter young. I guess I’ll stop at who wasn’t there and tell you who was there . Of course you know I was there-DUH. But the rest of the class reads like a Graves golf hall of fame team. You have Ron “hick” hiconbothem, who in case you just came out of a 3 year coma, is the very talented Illustrator who has drawn the picture of Moe in heaven looking down on the Graves golf school. What a picture! It has somehow been remade to fit the Graves trailer. One can only imagine the looks they get traveling around the country in this piece of art. Timmy -ELTD- Dolan had some of the Moe in heaven pictures remade up with Rons permission and gave me one 8x10 that I have sitting right in front of me on the wall and also a 5x7 hanging on a lanyard that I have hanging from My Alumnus of the year plaque Ronny is also a part of our NEONSAMS club ok, ok, once more for the uninitiated: N orth E ast O rder of N atural S ingle A xis M oe S wingers. Please remember this Its awfull hard to write.

Also we had Paul Palermo, the winner of that past 2 Moe Memorial tourney scramble days. I think that makes him a 3 out of 4 winner. I was with him on the first win, then I’ve placed 2nd to him and the NG instructor last year. And Actually nothing this year. But it wouldn’t be fair to be named the Alumnus of the year and win the tourney. I think that would have been bad form. I’m ok to step aside for the good of the game. That’s my story and I’m sticking with it.
Also there was Bob Perry, another member of neonsams . Bob is just going to side saddle and looks to be going at it pretty hard and making huge strides in the early going of the change. Nice going bud, keep it up., I’ve already mentioned charlie leclair who was there and he and his brother are also members of the chapter.

Also this year Greg Makowski brought his 16 yr. Old son,Jeff, with him. And let me tell you he was just as tired as the rest of us. Let me see, I hope I don’t leave anyone out but here goes, there was Bernie, always hitting balls, one of the last to leave, Mike L, Ray, Bill S, Jack, Phil, chriss, and then one of my favorites was a rookie to the Graves, I know he’s a rookie because he’s the one who saw me on the driving range last week and asked me if I was swinging Natural Golf. I told him all about the Graves, well as much as you can tell someone when they’re trying to get back to work but you keep rattling on ,that is. But I was glad to see him there, you know it makes you feel like your not only helping the guy who’s asking but your also giving the Boys another student.
I hope I didn’t leave anyone out, but you know how it is at the schools, you might not see a guy on the other end of the range except for maybe lunch, if then. So anyway these were the combatants, and I’m not sure , except for Bill W. Who was with the Graves for the first time but I know I saw a lot of new faces , that’s for sure. I’m hoping a lot of them will come on the forum and contribute to the fun we have here. And be able to attend our NEONSAMS chapter. Because as long as we keep getting guys here to participate and showing up for the schools then it makes it awfully hard for the Graves to stop the Connecticut part of their travels. I think this is our 4th or 5th year with them in CT. And I hope it goes on for as long as they travel.
That is that for students and on the Graves team we had of course Tim and Todd. And a new instructor named Tall brent, because hes taller than the other Brent I’ll tell you about in a minute. And also for the first time in Conn. We had Scott Renfrow as well. If you haven’t met scott, you willl because not much goes on in GGA without Scotts input. Hes another one that when you see him its like seeing a friend you have’nt seen in awhile. And that pretty much goes for the whole GGA staff. When ever you see them they always seem genuinely happy to see you as well. Now I don’t know if they really are happy to see me but I tell you they put on one heck of an act if theyre not, I tell you. Then of course last but not least you have Brent Reid.Who works as hard as anyone out there , Except while were working hard to find our games and improve toward the model, hes working hard to make sure there is nothing you need that you don’t have in front of you. Hes really the engine that drives the school. Rarely seen but if something is wrong or needed hes’there to make sure things go along, from taking your lunch order to laying out all the hitting station gear and making sure you have balls to hit. And every thing else I have for gotten to say. He’s the new Fuzzy. If you have’nt had the pleasure to meet Fuzzy well you get a close 2nd in Brent. Both are great guys who do their job to perfection.
Well the first day we went over the morning session of letting everyone know what they were in for. I’m glad that Tim tells everyone straight away that they won’t be leaving here on Sunday scratch players. I know a lot of people think that all they have to do is show up and they’ll be shooting 72's on Monday But the good thing is they’ve made the move to the journey. Most of you know that I ve been at it here just about as long as anyone else in the group. I’ve taken every class they have to offer at least once. The 5 day camp is the ONLY one that I’ve only done once. I did mine at celebration so its cool that my next 2 5 day camps will be at “new” places. New to me anyway. My point is not to try to “out do” anyone on amount of schools attended but to show you that one is good but you can only grow so much from each one. The path to the Moe Norman swing is done at your own pace, but to be sure it doesn’t happen overnight. Some things will feel like they happen overnight, when you finally get that grip correct and the compensations have been wheedled out of your swing it will feel like all the sudden things are great. But there is a lot of work to be done in between the Flashes of OH, now I get it. But honestly its still hard work. Just like Moe said, you can beg borrow or steal for almost anything. But the only way to a good golf swing is hard work. Now I may have paraphrased a bit but you get my point. I’m sure you do if your working on your swing. If it was easy, there wouldn’t be any”working on the golf swing”

And I’m not trying to scare anyone either. Just want the new folks (and a couple older ones) to know that Yes, you have definitely come to the right place to fix your swing and to play great golf, But and it’s a big but, like an OPRAH sized BUTT, it doesn’t happen overnight. Now This is not to say you most definitely will play worse than you did when you got here but the probability of it happening is better than even.
When I started to swing like Moe, I first saw the infomercial for LOBG. I saw the Golf Digest article and went to my attic to get it out. I don’t know how I missed it the first time around but I did. I read the GD article and then I immediately started playing better. But I was so bad that I guess any type of instruction would help. But then As much as I thought I would just be happy scoring under 100 every time, I wasn’t when I could do it. Now I want to break 80 every time and then I’m sure I’ll most likely want to break 70 every time. And this is why you don’t get it in the first class you take, Because until your happy shooting the score your shooting there will always be more work to do.

One of my favorite ways to PROVE that I’m getting better is the use of the mail in video program that Todd and Tim provide. You mail in a tape of your swing and they mail it back to you with things to work on to get closer to the model-MOE. As you are in the journey and feel like its been a waste and you’ll never get better, which believe me we all have felt at one time or another, that’s when I like to take out my older tapes that they have sent back. When I put them in the VCR its right there in living color the strides I”ve made. In my 7th year I’m not working anymore on parts of the path I was working on in year 2. Because now I own those changes. So there it is my Proof of advancement. And I tell you sometimes when its going bad, I need the little bit of pick me up.

Anyways, after Tims Introduction and telling us how some folks learn differently than others and how we need to take responsibility for our learning. I mean they can put out all the information that we need but if we don’t ask questions if we don’t understand and take a proactive approach then we have noone to blame but our selves.
One thing I can tell you though is as I go along on my journey, or path, however you experience it is that you may have the grip dead on and now your struggling with the back swing. After they describe the back swing and have now moved on to the impact or Moes release position, I think that while they are describing other parts of the swing I stopped hearing what they are saying. I mean I’m listening but I’m not hearing it. I stopped hearing them when they past the part of the swing I’m working on. This is why you can go to so many schools and not get bored or feel like your hearing the same thing over and over. Because your not. First of all they’re constantly changing the way they teach to better help you to absorb it. Just like We are working on the swing, they are constantly trying to improve they’re “delivery”.

A lot of this is most likely do to the fact that they REALLY DO CARE ABOUT YOU AND YOUR GOLF SWING. And the fact that Todd and Tims Mom and Dad are teachers. Have you ever heard of the Sylvan learning system? Thats Mom and Dad.
Now this may sound like news to some of you but it may be a year or more since you seen them and they remember your name and what it is your are or should be working on! I never cease to be amazed by this. First I couldn’t believe that they remembered me after my first lesson but that they knew what my swing fault was. Tell me how many instructors who work with so many different students all over the nation can do this? No one that I’m aware of.
This is really helpful when you are getting down on it, because they pick you back up because they care. OK, I’m getting off this subject before You guys think I’m getting paid by them. Lol.
At lunch on the first day I heard something that I thought was kinda interesting. 60% of GGA’s students are REPEAT business. Imagine that? The working plan should be you get the student to get your material, maybe a few training tools, some DVD’s and a lesson or two. And then that student you would think is pretty much sold on the ideas and will work the program. But who would have thought that 60% of the school students are repeaters? I always thought that I was one of the weird guys , and I know a few more of you out there, who have gone and are planning on going to more schools.
If you need anymore nudging to see if the schools are worth it think about that statement for a minute. In a class of 10 students, only 4 are there for the first time. WOW! I guess I’m not alone then am I ?

Anyway, after Tims morning welcome and what to expect and Todds, full swing instruction we hit balls on the range trying to get loose and take in some of what Tim and Todd said in the morning, and then ate lunch. By the way if any of you live or are close to CT and haven’t played Fox Hopyard it really is one of Ct’s best places to play or practice. They have a nice practice area that has anything you could ask for, it really is an ideal place for the Graves school. And I plan on sending them a thank you for all the things they and their members put up with over a pretty busy holiday.
After lunch we learned the string drill and how to put a T on the ball to help you line up your putt by pretending the T is the chalk line. You all know the drill.
Then we had some chipping instruction. Repeat after me,OPEN STANCE, NARROW STANCE AND FIRM LEADING WRIST !! And that’s all I have to say about that. Next was somemoe Ranged time before the end of day one and Todds Hitting demonstration.

Now If you only read one thing that I’m writing I hope you read this.: Even if you can’t afford a school or don’t even care to try to swing like Moe Please please please, go to the day one school at days end to see Todd hit balls. It will change the way you think about hitting a golf ball. And it will convince you that Todd was put on this earth to do exactly what it is he’s doing. Hitting golf balls and telling us how to do it. Really I can’t say anything else to convey to you what a site it is . It can’t be put in words. At least not by someone with my lowly intelligence. It is something to behold, for sure. And I’ll leave it at that.

Day 2 came and it seemed to go just as fast. Except I was much more tired at the end than at the beginning.
The morning we went through the statistics that should prove to anyone who sees it that the game is won and lost w/in 100 yards of the green. But we all want to hit that perfectly straight looong drive. The proof is there to help us. If you can get your short game up to a decent level you can make all sorts of changes to you swing with minimal damage to your present scoring. If you have a short game like Tims ‘ then who cares how you swing the club? But everyones at the range instead of the putting green.
Incedently my first round of golf after the school was our Tuesday wing ding. On the T ee box I tried to swing in control so I could be sure to work the changes. I was swinging slow and the ball just jumped off my club head. I couldn’t believe it. I was swinging at what I would term as maybe 65% and I was landing in spots I’ve never hit to. Maybe thats all I have to do. Make sure I hit my swing points and hit the center of the club face. It really was remarkable and it happened by accident. I just wanted to make correct club movements and keep my trail foot down. It was actully the same for my irons I sorta half swung and I was hitting it over every green. You might think that that would be a good thing but not if your not expecting it. And even though it kept happening I could’t bring myself to hit these other clubs from spots I was at for the 5 years I’ve been at this course. Luckily my short game baled me out, w/6 of 7 up and downs and 13 putts. I was going to see if it was the same at today(Friday)wing ding but will have to wait for saturday. I was complaining how I never hit my irons that far and my captain said , yeah but you could see and hear that the ball was hit perfectly. How do you choose a club if your hitting it “perfectly” and can you expect to hit it that way every time. I usually hit my 9 iron 115yds and 3 times I hit it 134,135,and 135,with slower swings? This has never happened to me. I mean sometimes if the weather gets to be in the 90"s the ball goes further but not 20yds on a 9 iron.MY 7 Usually figure it as about 143 to 147 in that area. I was hitting it 163.I need more time on the course to see if this hold up but if it does wow. Swing slower and hit if further, really cool. If I swing slow I can move the club correctly , at least most of the time. By slow I mean I would take it back pretty slow and then make sure I got in good positions on the way down. Anyone else have this happen to them? Any ways I’ll get back to the school.

On day 2 we also went over practice A vs practice B. I’m sure you all know what these are so I won’t go deep into them except as to say that practice A is target practice no mechanical thoughts only of targets. And Practice B is not caring where the ball goes or how, only on making proper movement of the golf club and body positions. And never the 2 shall meet.

We went over a review of the swing and then we went over Driver instruction. Todd said that 50% of your range target practice time should be done with the driver. I bet he didn’t have to convince many on this one, I mean who doesn’t want to hit their driver all day at the range?
This is where we lost a bunch of people. I haven’t mentioned it yet but when The Graves rolled into town we hadn’t had any hot days yet here in CT. A few nice 70 days but no 85 and 90 days that came up with them. So we were going through a lot of water and the seats were getting used. Between the humid heat and the swinging of the Driver there were a lot of sore fellows come Sunday morning.

OK now, I’m about to say something here that every single Graves student is waiting to here. But first let me say that today was also video day. Todd takes students one at a time down to the video stall and has them swing and then he gives them the tape with things to work on. So everyone knows exactly what they should be working on when they leave the school.
Of course before all this happens they walk the line and give us hints and
tips to work on. Well Todd comes by and hes just looking at me from behind for a few swings and finally I can’t take it anymore. I say , WHAT! Whats my problem? OK are you ready for this? He says” it only has happened a couple times since I’ve been teaching. I look at a student and I don’t have anything to say with out the video camera.” WH WHWHWHW Whaaat? Did you just say my swing looks like its there? Yeah, it doesnt happen often but I don’t have anything to say, Good job, keep it up” hamana hamana hamana whwhwhwhwhhwwhwhhwhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat? I couldn’t believe what it was I was hearing. Finally Todd says my swing looks good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1WOW!! I couldn’t believe it I wanted him to repeat it so as many people as possible could here it. Talk about walking on cloud doc9. Wow, did I feel good. Maybe this is why I’ve had this bug the past few days, my body said the work is over lets rest.
Anyway I’m sure most of you can feel my smile through the key board.

So There I am hitting balls on the range Feeling about as good as Moe student can feel I’m guessing. I’m trying out all kinds of clubs now and I’m trying to not strut as best as I could but I’m pretty sure I was probably walking around like I pigeon with my chest all out. You just have no idea how good I felt. Tims showing me a more players irons instead of the game improvement clubs I have now and hes showing me these forged irons and telling “well your just about ready for these” I tell you I’m really feeling it ya know?

But , oh no, don’t tell me theres a but to the day. But then as I”m swinging I start to notice a little cut to my ball flight, Oh no, I’ve lost it already. Then Brent, Tall brent. Oh yea,I haven’t told you about tall Brent yet. Next paragraph I swear. But he say s just swing through a little longer and then release. And bang, there it was again, Thanks Brent.
I forgot to tell you about Brent. Hes’ a new instructor of GGA. He has been working with them down at coffee creek in OKLAHOMA and now he travels too. He is a younger guy , bout 6'2 I guess and slender. He looks like a golfer. Anyway. He was a big help this weekend. Now I have to tell you something.

Usually I don’t take to NEW instructors. I’m put off by the fact that I’ve been around the MOE swing most likely longer than them. What difference this makes I have no idea but It’s a quirk of mine. It the reason I had problems with CG instructors and some of my NG instructors. Now don’t get me wrong, he has done nothing to deserve this treatment and he’s a nice guy and all, I just don’t take to new instructors . The only reason I gave Todd any respect at the beginning is because well, he’s the guy on the video and he’s the one who took Moes swing and broke it down for the rest of us. And I think this is one of the reasons I took to his instruction so easily was, I just did everything he told me to do. I mean How am I going to argue with the guy who’s’ writing the material? I couldn’t and didn’t . I think I even questioned Tim at the beginning, thinking he was just hitching a ride on his brothers swing genius, But that got proved wrong real quick too. Now I KNOW that they both are excellent instructors and each excels in a different area but both know their business. And after putting down my prejudice to new INSTRUCTORS and actually listening to Brent he had some good things for me as well. So now I can include him as one. By the way I also use to feel this way about Joe Knupple too at the beginning and he also turned out to be a great instructor as well. I guess I can pretty much trust the folks that Todd and Tim will allow to teach on their team huh? and I won’t have to deal with it anymore. Like it is said in school. Just say OKAY!! It makes it a lot easier to just say ok and accept the things they’re telling us than to argue with them. I mean I am asking for their input right? Isn’t that the reason I go to the schools? OK physke lesson over.

So I just went with the instruction he was telling me and it was pretty soon after that while I was practicing Brent’s instruction when
Todd told me it was good. I still can’t believe it. So I just kept doing it. I wanted to burn this swing into my sub conscious hard. All I have to do is repeat this about 1,000,000,000 more times and I’ll be close. After a few hours I guess of this I get called over to the video-uh oh. Now we’ll see for sure.

Todd tells me where to set up and hit so both camera’s will get the swing. So I go to it, trying to just swing the same way I’ve been trying to ingrain. I take 1 swing and I’m reaching for the Tee again because I know he usually has us take a few swings then tries to get you to swing the proper way so you can have it on tape and what to practice till next time. But as I’m reaching for the tee he says come here lets look at this. I’m thinking wait a minute, I want to hit another the first one can’t be any good. I’m waiting for him to I don’t know, fix my trigger finger like he had to do on Friday morning. I don’t know if any of you remember how I had to tape my trigger finger to the rest of my fingers during my 5 day camp because it always would go down the shaft and the only way I could get it to stay was I taped it to my middle finger but all that did was make me pull my trigger and middle fingers down the shaft. So I had to tape all my trail hand fingers together to keep the trigger from going down to far. Anyway, I pretty much thought that I had conquered that demon, but the first morning of school Todd yells for Tim to grab the scissors to take care of this same thing all over again. I was mad, I hadn’t or at least I hadn’t thought I did that anymore. But once he told me, it didn’t take anymore for me to go back to the proper grip. I guess thats one of the benefits of the path. As you get further down it , it gets easier to make the changes.

So anyways he calls me to the video screen and we go through my swing in slow motion. The club comes back just a bit below the plane and then near the top my back swing is right on the plane. I start down in the forward swing and my club drops right down onto the plane and stays on it all the way to impact.!!! BEAUTIFUL!! Then he says look at your rear foot. It has come up too soon. DAM!! I thought I had trained that foot to stay down. But here it is showing I’m lifting my rear heel some. So he look as long as you are on plane I don’t care if you raise your heel a little, Most people can’t get it on plane if the heel comes up. Then he puts up the face on swing and says that I’m just going forward just a bit which is one of the reasons I can’t keep my foot down. Then he asks if I hit a lot of High shots which I do and is the reason I went to an 8* driver this year to try to bring it down some. But If I can just get this last thing, make sure I’m keeping my trail foot down I’ll bring the ball down some and I’ll be there. The fact that I”M right on plane is a very nice feeling. And You could see that I had plenty of angle in my swing to be right where I want to be. So as you can see I had a very good day Saturday and went home ecstatic. I couldn’t believe that I took one swing and he said , your done.. Nice!! Now I know exactly what to do to have a repeatable good swing and can really focus my practice on the short game, that s where alll the scoring is anyway, and now that I have the confidence in my swing I can just let it happen on the course and not play golf swing while I’m out there. I went home one happy , tired man. I had absolutely no trouble getting to sleep that night.

Also on Saturday we went through the wedge game. I love this part of the school. We go into the bunkers and around the chipping green and just through shots all over the place. I can do just about anything when I’m in these schools. Because if you mess up , who cares ? That s what your there for to learn. Me Ron and Tim were around the green near the end of the day trying to create the most difficult shots to hit. Its really amazing when you let your imagination into the game what you can come up with and actually pull off. You just know that Tim is having the time of his life with a wedge in his had showing us “pups” what to do and after killing us at the game showing us how easy it is if you just set up correctly. I tell you one thing, Ronny was hitting some pretty crazy shots right along with Tim. They were sinking shots while I was just getting close. You learn as much at this Messing around part of school as you do in the core instruction. Because what you might think is an impossible shot and then you see Tim Pull it off and you say well if he can do it then so can I, and the games begin. I had a blast. It really is a nice course to practice on. Its got everything you can need to work on.

Day 3 came and it was an early start. We had a 7:45 tee time so I got there about 5 to 7. I hit a few chips warming up and hit a few putts and then went to the range to go through my bag. I was pretty sore from all the balls I had hit the 2 days before. But I was hitting through my bag pretty good. I really felt good to go out an play a few holes and see how I would do.
My group had Tim first and he took us to the 14th hole to give us some
course management scenarios. WE talked about what was a good spot to pick out to hit to and we all did. I didn’t hit the ball the way I expected to . Well, If we were playing mulligans I did but my first shot at each attempt stunk. Then I would hit another one and it would be good. I was talking to Paul Palermo and he said well its hard because we would be talking for about 20 minutes between shots and couldn’t get a rhythm. Of course this didn’t stop him from hitting perfectly straight balls down the middle though. He really has a nice single axis swing. So with out giving away all the Graves secrets-you’ll have to go for yourself to see- we played probably 2 or 3 holes with Tim and Then the same With Todd. We went over various shots on the course and how to hit them, You know, Up hill, down hill, side hill, over trees under tress a lot of fairway bunker shots and how to best help your self to recover and keep damage to a minumum. And we did do some chipping on this one hole where I picked up a tool I’ll use on my course quite often.

WE had a hole that had little mounds all around the green. And I would have either chipped it and been far away and take my 2 putt or try a flop shot which is pretty foolish if you don’t pull it off. Tim taught us this shot that’s not exactly a chip and not exactly a flop but it worked beautiful in this situation that I have on my course a lot and will save me some shots.

After the on course instruction we went back to the range to work on the different things we each had to work on. I really thought this was a very productive school, then again I always do. But that’s because they are. I always leave the camp with really great feelings about my game and where its going. I’m hoping to find the time again to be able to practice the things I need to do . Last year is the first year I ‘ve been with the graves that my handicap didn’t drop and I want to reverse that. It dropped 6 straight years untill last year with all my extra drama thrown in my game took a back seat and I’m ready to come out fighting again. I certainly have the tools I just have to pick em up and use them before I forget how to use them again.
The rest of the day was club fitting and making sure your set fit you. And doing the work that we need with some last minute eyes to be sure to practice correctly.

A few things that are gems from the weekend are to make sure I practice the PVC drill because It’s a great drill to embed the backswing and pivot point. As well as a few things for my swing personally to keep in mind. Also to use the T on the ball to set up down the fairway to make sure your clubhead is square. Now I put it facing the fairway but I never take care to be sure that it is exactly where I want to start because I’m just happy to hit the fairway. But now I’ll pick a spot more definate and point the ball to my spot makeing sure my club is square. I thought this was another good pickup for the back of my head. There were a lot of little things like that to hold onto if you weren’t already doing them. I’m already doing some of them after hearing them in other GGA schools.

Another thing that is worth mentioning is That GGA has another Training club in the mix. It is going to be a driver to go along with the 6 iron. Sign me up for that one too guys
Maybe the biggest new thing to come out of this school is the emergence of the GGA’s new Golf Grips that will be out hopefully in about 4 months. So if any of you are thinking about regripping your clubs I’d put the cheapest things on I could find so you can regrip with the new Graves grips. The grips are going to have markings on them for righties and lefties . You will just put your hands on the grip properly and you’ll have the right grip and they are legal for tournament play.
And the last thing is the Book Todd is working on. I didn’t get the completion date out of him but he’s working on one.

At the Moe Memorial I was awarded the 2005 alumnus of the year and missed the presentation because I was going to pick up my wife. So I brought the Plaque with me so I can have a picture of it while standing next to the boys. I’m glad I finally got a picture to put next to the plaque. It might not be the same as the night they were to give it to me but at least I got it now though.
I’m not sure how I”m going to get past this next year with out the teachings of the boys. With there next Moe memorial set for next July instead of the usual Feb. I have to wait a full year before I can get hands on training again. I may have to send in a video per month to keep it where it is.

Well I think that’s the end of the story.
But I”m sure the most important thing you all will find in it is my swing is great!!! You have to be sure to love yourself, just in case no one else does.

Wow, what a cool read - it's a good thing there weren't too many details in there. Another awesome experience related through the eyes of Doc.

Let me just say this, readers, for all of doc9's (Dan) jocularity, no one works harder on his swing to match the model. All of us who "swing like Moe" are on / in their own space on their journey...some further along than others. I am working on getting my backswing on plane, while other Moedophiles are working on their particular segment. Todd and Tim had to separate our swing stations because Dan and I were having too much fun. I'll tell you, that boy has some serious bodily noises coming from him. Anyway, to all of you who are thinking about attending a 1 day ,3 day or BYGC session...just do it. It will be the best thing you can do for your SA swing. If you can't do that, then at least get your swing on video and send it to Todd: the next best thing to having him there next to you. All in All, a most enjoyable weekend was had. As soon as I returned home sunday PM, I kind of "tested the waters" with SHE WHO MUST BE OBEYED about a 5 day BYGC session...my cast comes off next week. LOL Ron
