There have been many questions about ideal grip sizes, so here is the Graves Golf Academy recommendation for grip size:
Recommended grip sizes These are only recommendations - individual's comfort, flexibility of fingers/hands, etc.. will cause variances. For example, individuals with arthritis will want bigger grips, those with short fingers will want smaller grips, etc.
Hand Size (measured from wrist crease to top of middle finger): Small (< 6 ½ inches) Normal size grip (58) with 2 extra wraps lower hand Medium (6 ½ to 7 inches) Normal size grip (58), 3 extra wraps lower hand, 1 upper ML Cadet (6 ½ to 7 inches) Normal size grip (58), 3 extra wraps lower hand, 1 upper ML (7 to 7 ½ inches) Mid Size Grip, 3 extra wraps lower hand, 1 upper Large (7 ½ to 8 inches) Mid Size Grip, 4 extra wraps lower hand, 2 upper XL (8 inches ++) Mid Size Grip, 5 extra wraps lower hand, 3 upper
Again - remember these are only recommended suggestions - make sure to get a grip that is comfortable - allows release of the club and is big enough to not slip in the hands.
