I was given a set of Ping clubs from my uncle who was forced to give up this great game of golf due to health reasons. I was wondering how can I measure the loft of the irons? The wedges just have a "P", a "S", and a "W" on them so how can I determine what the loft is? The irons have an orange dot on them if that matters. Thanks!
darmy4, You can take your clubs to any golf shop and have the loft measured on them and some golf courses will measure the loft for you too. The orange dot means that the lie on the club is about 2 degrees flat. HeyMoe
Ping iron sets have a serial number.. If you contact ping they can probably give you that info on your set. You caan also register your set with ping. They can make you an exact replacement if need be.. You see the serial number on the hosel.Good luck..
Ping has the loft of all their irons on their website. I assume they are one of the older irons. This link http://www.pinggolf.com/irons_classics.html will get you to whichever set you have and a table with the lofts is on the sets page.
Hoping for success without hard work is like trying to harvest without planting.
