Can anyone offer reviews/opinions on the NG History Stick? I had an opportunity to try a few bunker shots with one, and was quite impressed, however I would have liked to have had the chance to try some more shots. By the way, I just recently found this forum, and I can see that it is going to be a great help. Thanks in advance for any replies.

I got one a few months ago, but here where I live, the bunkers tend to be hard packed sand, and the history stick does not work well in hard packed sand. In soft sand though, it should work well. But, I also know that it works well in long wet rough, which we do have a lot of, so will keep it in my bag.

| I carry the 60 degree for use both out of the sand and as a lob wedge. Will not work real well from very tight lies / hardpan / or super-packed sand, but is great out of normal sand and tall rough. |

| I have the alien you could pick it up for 15.00 at biglots or do like I did and tell the one at the check out that is has a few scraches and get it for 10.00/ works just like the history stick but alot cheaper. It helped me this last weekend cut about 5 strokes of my game. |

I have the 60 degree and love it. It has changed the way I think about being in a trap from fear to I don't care. In really hard sand the History stick, or the conventional sand wedge, need to be played differently, in green side bunkers with hard sand I now play a chip shot based on Tim's firm left wrist message. By the way I played a course a week ago where the sand was so hard that I rolled out of three bunkers, in effect I was not in the sand all day. John |
