I practice with the 6 iron training club, I watch my DVD's, I read the forum for tips, I try various grip sizes, but I cannot seem to keep the heel pad in contact with the club. Please help.

I am overhinging and need to solidify a lead hand grip routine. My playing partners call me Sergio. Sometimes I can simply place my hands on the club, other times I cannot seem to get control of my club without having a strong grip.
