Posted - 08/20/2007 : 18:37:36 hey Todd,Time,or Scott I was wondering what school would be good for me to go to next. I have already gone to a 3 day school last year. Would it be better to go to the 2 day alumini school or the 5 day build your game camp? thanx |

Posted - 10/14/2007 : 16:57:56 That is the La Quinta Inn Orlando Airport North. It got good reviews on tripadvisor and had decent rates compared to some of the other local hotels. If someone knows of something better, please post. Wells |

Been soft selling my Dept. of State on this idea and will have an answer soon. Been on a ton of golf trips over the years, but never for 5 days.

Posted - 09/17/2007 : 06:43:14 Let's see..why do my irons off the tee on par 3s have a draw/hook while on approach shots I tend to push/block them slightly right, straight but with proper distance? Why do I hit the driver with marginal side spin either way yet the 3 wood off the tee is usually more hook than ever desired...isn't it supposed to be the other way? Looking to see if I can be called "Edge the Wedge II" and a "Moe Howard" type character shows up in my game as well. I would love to make more putts. Does that cover all 14 clubs in my bag?

Posted - 09/17/2007 : 02:50:43 Guys, What I really would like to work on is my brain. HeyMoe can shoot 2,3,4 under on one side and then the Moe Howard in me (3 stooges) takes over and I will shoot 1000 on the other side. Usually shoot better on first nine but not always. Also, When I get "old" I want to be called "Edge the Wedge", therefore, the 9 iron on down is where I need the most work. Edge the Wedge |

Posted - 09/14/2007 : 11:20:49 Distance control from 60 - 130 yards would be great help. I'd like to hit those "perfect shots" and have them end up near the right number instead of 10 yards long or short. For very short game, I'd love to really learn the multi-club chipping. I can see a bunch of time spent learning to fly chips the correct length with the correct roll. I'd like to get good from aweful rough around the green and flop over a bunker from hardpan. And lots of sand work from soft sand, hard sand, good lies, bad lies,,, As for full swing, is my ball flight too low? Too high? Do my clubs still fit based on the numbers? Like Hack, I often have alignment issues on the course. I wish I had a pre-shot routine that I liked and that made me feel aligned correctly.
In my dreams, I come away from the week with confidence that my good swings are correct, and that "I have that shot" when a shot presents itself. I walk away with a solid pre-shot routine that helps me under pressure. I improve my sand saves to some respectable number. In my dreams I walk away with more than just a plan for improvment, I walk away improved. And I set myself up for 2008 to be an awesome year. |

Posted - 09/13/2007 : 19:34:50 Alignment is one of my biggies. How to step into a shot and know all you need to do is make a good swing.
I have several holes at home that eat me alive, repeating the same bad shot off the tee round after round. Just has to be the result of a bad setup.
I want a greater awareness of what I actually do on course, what my tendencies are, so I can work toward greater consistancy. I've had really good nines, but can't seem to keep it together enough to produce a great 18. I've had front nines that all I needed was to be mediocre to break 80, and BLAM, grenade on the back 9.
And, of course, my short game still needs a bunch of work |
