Looks like a great place to help Todd and Tim, by going to

In this months Golf Magazine, they are asking golfers to fill out
a survey rating a golf school they have been to in the last 2 years.
Student ratings are the biggest factor in determining which schools make the top 25.
It only takes 3 or 4 mins. to fill out the survey, let's see if we can get  in the top 25.
Here in Ohio it is 10 degrees, so there is time.

Another factor is that the bigger schools pump out more students in a month than GGA does in a year. More people = more potential voters.
You could go to a "name brand" school for a week and never see the guy whose name is on the door.
From a student's perspective, I prefer quality over quantity any day.
And AverageGolfer's post is also dead on ... it's the next best thing to pay-ola. A "marketing agreement" does wonders for your placement:

I suspect it is HEAVILY weighted towards those schools who also advertise in the magazines... It's a dirty little secret in the publising biz, you buy the advertising in order to get the editorial. The ads themsevles are gravey, if they return any income off the investment. |

Well all,
I just read the June issue of Golf Magazine and we didn't make the Top 25 schools. They did reveal their formula for calculating their Top 25 and it's weighted towards their Top 100 instructors.
We'll keep after it....Thanks to all who submitted their surveys, without you we simply would not be where we are today. |

Just had a great 5 day "Build Your Game Camp" in OK.

Since we can now take a poll, why not take one on all of us that have filled out the survey, then we will have the up-to-date count?
