Are there any motels that are real close to Eagle Creek Golf Course?
Is anyone going to play the day before or the day after the tourny?

To all you coming from cold weather golfers,
We may have some showers, thunderstorms on Friday, Saurday and Sunday, but temperatures will be in the 70's, here in Orlando,
so you will be able to thaw-out a bit.

OK guys here is the new plan, I have received emails from most of you and the general feeling is that you guys want to play North-shore Golf Course instead for Thrusday and Friday. So we are not playing eagle creek Thrusday and Friday and I have canceled the tee times for Eagle Creek. North Shore is a beautiful course and in my opinion just as good as Eagle Creek. So Beautiful I think that I bought a house there recently. We'll be playing in the Moe at Eagle Creek anyways so playing North Shore is an added bonus for Thrusday and Friday.
So the new Tee Times are for North Shore Golf Course, here is the link to the course:

The price is:
$50 dollars for Florida Resident
$69 dollars for out of to towners. The GM reduced it from $90
The Tee Times are as Follows:

Just checking the weather report tonight and it says rain for Fri,Sat and Sun. I hope the damn report is wrong. We're supposed to be in the dry season now anyways. Well, either way, see ya all this weekend. )

Just thought you might like to know it was sunny and warm today (74*) here in the Orlando area. My short sleeve shirt was wet from sweating and stuck to my back on the backswing. Ha, Ha, Ho, Ho.
Sorry about your weather, but we are planning on some good weather for the tournament, so.......

Man, snow sucks! Jesse you stay away from that practice range. We need some big time sun up here. I tried to go out and swing but my snow suit kept getting stuck on my back swing and the ski's kept coming unhooked from mygolf shoes. You'd think that footjoy would have come out with there snowshoes by now, my feet are getting frost bitten with the snow coming over the tops. Scott, I could really use my golf paid up for the year. But I'm not sure you guys meant my golf, probably a "normal" guys golf. I can at least still putt on the carpet. Are you guys crying yet? Oh well, so much for the sympathy card. Maybe you guys can add some strokes for those of us above the Mason Dixon line? Please? |

Not fair fellows we in the snow belt can not get out to practice. Have to come up with a handicap system. Blind folds for you lucky southerners or some thing Looking forward to seeing all and watching all you masters play |

Ok guys, here's a little update for all. As of last night (Sunday), we have 71 players for the tourney. That's over twice as many as last year. Wow.
Also, we are working on having some little "contests" during the tourney that we think you will REALLY like. Since they are top secret, you'll just have to wait!  Oh heck, I can't be that mean. Let's just say we are working on the POSSIBILITY of a contest that should you win, it would pay for your golf for an entire year or so.......
All in all, this tourney is shaping up to be absolutely amazing. BRING YOUR CAMERA!

George holed one out today with a hybrid club from DOWN-TOWN, it was awesome! George it's Heymoe that is renting the house. go to the 4th page on this thread, it's there.
gil999 you mentioned you want to play Eagle Creek, I will play Eagle Creek with you anytime, actually Neil and I meet and play there and I'm sure George would join us. Anytime you want to play after the tourney let me know. I really like the course. |

Hey all you "Swing like Moe" golfers beware!
I played with Jesse today and let me tell you he hits that ball big time. Long, high, straight, you name it. Also, he's a great friend.
Jesse is taking time to help me, age 73, to hit the ball better, play better, and score lower.
P.S. Ask him about my chip shot today.
Looking forward to meeting all you long ball hitters in a few weeks, just get me to the green, then I have a chance.
P.P.S. Someone was renting a house for the tournament, do you know who it was? I wanted to ask a few questions.
